Week of Thanksgiving...

We are so excited for the two days leading up to our Thanksgiving break.  On Monday, we plan on working on some problem solving as well as finishing up our research on Jamestown.  We are going to be making booklets or posters all about Jamestown.  Each student is able to choose which one they would like to make.  Our goal is to finish them before break....  On Tuesday, we are going watch our volcanoes explode and end our Math Topic with our Topic 7 test.  I think the students are more excited about the volcanoes than the test.  :)

If for some reason your child is not going to be here any day next week, please let me know ahead of time.  It would help us quite a bit.  :)

We hope that everyone traveling will do so safely.  My homework for students over break is to spend as much time as they can with families.  We sometimes don't get to spend as much time as we would like because we're at school for most of the day.  Also, students will get to take home some math review.  :)  I know it would break their hearts if they couldn't do math all break, so we'll put something together to ease the pain...
